.NET Framework is Microsoft's new programming model for developing,
deploying, and running XML Web services and all types of applications-desktop,
mobile, or Web-based. Microsoft ASP.NET represents the classes
in the .NET Framework that enable the rapid development of powerful
Web applications and XML Web services. ASP.NET provides an easy
and scalable way to build, deploy, and run Web-based applications
that can target any browser or device.
ODBC
Datasource Names
ODBC
Datasource Names (DSNs) provide you with the easiest way to link
your webpages to a database. The goal of ODBC is to make it possible
to access any data from any application, regardless of which
database management system (DBMS) is handling the data. ODBC
manages this by inserting a middle layer, called a database driver,
between an application and the DBMS. DSNs are easy to set up
on our server. You simply log into our web-based control panel
and fill out our DSN request form and one of our support technicians
will set up your DSN for you.
